Where and when is the 2009 EPUG-UKI-SMUG dayschool being held?
The 2009 EPUG-UKI-SMUG dayschool is being held on Tuesday 20th October at the British Library, St Pancras, London. The dayschool begins at 10.00am and ends at 4.00pm. The dayschool is being held the day after the regular EPUG-UKI meeting at the same venue.
Who can attend the dayschool?
The dayschool is open to all subscribing members of EPUG-UKI who work with either SFX or MetaLib. If your institution is not currently a member of EPUG-UKI and is interested in joining, then get in touch with Bill Pollard (email: firstname.lastname@example.org). There is an annual fee currently payable for full membership – one subscription covers an institution.
Is there a limit to how many people can attend the dayschool from my institution?
No. There is a maximum number of attendees that we can accommodate at the venue, but spaces will be allocated on a first-come-first-served basis.
Is there a charge for attending the dayschool?
The costs of the dayschool are being met from EPUG subscriptions, so there is no additional charge for attending the dayschool. Lunch and refreshments will also be provided at no additional cost. However, all those attending will need to pay their own travel and accommodation costs.
Will the presentations from the dayschool be available online after the event?
Yes, with the agreement of the presenters, all presentations will be made available online following the dayschool.
